My dog Arlo is an 11 month old Doberman who was becoming a bit of a handful. Arlo spent 2 weeks with Jackson on a residential and in such a short time, Jackson made a huge difference. Arlo was a nightmare on lead and would pull like a steam train, he would get overly excited around other dogs, recall was on his terms and he would bolt after other dogs. Since training with Jackson, Arlo is leaps and bounds better. He recalls instantly, walks so much better on the lead without pulling, ignores other dogs and is just overall more calmer and engaged. I started Archway Dogs in 2010 as a career change. I realised my community didn't have local training classes and many people were in need of pet support in their busy lives of work and family.
I've always had a love for animals especially horses and dogs. As a teenager I used to hang out at the local London city farm after school. Yes, I was the farmyard nut, mucking out stables, feeding and watering gladly in my school uniform!.
I knew I had a kinship for working with horses and dogs, so deciding to concentrate on a career working initially as a dog walker and then as a dog trainer was relatively easy decision to make.
2017 I expanded my canine knowledge into grooming to offer a whole package to clients.
I'm a professional who is continually learning and improving on my qualifications and experience. I am currently at Instructors level PDTI. I'm at level 3 Dip City & Guilds Groomer. I prefer to work with the groom standard as that is the correct way to groom a dogs coat whether they're hand stripped, scissored or clipped.

Puppy and dog training is very hands on and it can be tricky to demonstrate and teach via a Zoom camera. for this reason, I prefer to meet in person as a 1:1 or in a group class.
My classes are always kept to 6 in a group maximum so that people have space between each other. There is good ventilation in the hall and the bathrooms and doors are sanitised daily.
