‘20 Certificate of Excellence

I am a certified Executive Coach, facilitator and trainer with a passion for helping individuals grow both professionally and personally. Over the years I have helped my clients, through 1-2-1 coaching and group facilitated sessions, move forward in their lives through increasing their self-awareness, unblocking their inner critics and encouraging real action. My coaching style is empathetic but focused and challenging and draws on insights from psychology, neuroscience and the world of business. I can offer both one-off session to begin the process of gaining self-awareness or a package of sessions to fully unpack issues and set you on the path toward accomplishing your goals.

What do you love most about your job?

I love to see my clients grow in self-belief and self-awareness. When clients first come to me they are often lacking in confidence, unclear of which direction to take in their professional and personal lives or unsure of how to reach their goals. Seeing my clients learn how they can move toward achieving their full potential is a true pleasure.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After 20 years of corporate life working as an Economic Consultant I left to have a career break and start my family. During that break I realised that I'd spent many years pursuing a career that had never really fulfilled my values. As Albert Einstein said 'the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result'. Looking to return back to work I struggled with low self-confidence and a perceived lack of options that would better suit me. In time I retrained as a coach and facilitator and over the past 4 years have focused on helping others move forward in their lives from a place of true empathy.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am an energetic, positive and warm coach who will not only allow you the space to talk but will challenge you to think differently about your life and your beliefs about what you can do to achieve your goals. My time as a consultant means that I am very solution focused and I encourage my clients to look to their future to ensure they leave feeling motivated and action orientated.

While both are focused on self-improvement, life and career coaching are two very different services. Life coaching is focused on reaching personal goals, whether that’s about relationships, building confidence, or finding meaning in life. Career coaching helps with challenges associated with your career. A career coach may help you cultivate skills such as career planning, interview techniques, CV writing and building confidence.

A business coach (or business consultant) is someone who can provide an outside perspective of you and your business, to provide new insight and strategies to help you reach your business goals. They’re trained in supporting a range of business goals, from driving sales and boosting revenue to supporting more personal career development, like building strong leadership qualities or improving focus and efficiency. Whatever your pain points, a business coach will help you tackle them head-on. They’re typically successful business owners themselves which means they can bring valuable experience to the table!

Whether you’re a one-person start-up or the managing director of a multinational company, we could all benefit from career coaching. Someone from the outside will be able to provide a fresh perspective on issues that you may not even have realised existed! If you’ve got a vision but have no idea how to make it into a reality, then a career coach will help you to break down your goals into manageable chunks to achieve them.

Whatever stage you’re at in your professional journey, a career coach can help you get there, whether it’s making small wins or a big change. If you’re stuck in a rut or looking for a major change in your career or business, a good business coach will help you to earn much more than the cost of their services.
