What do you love most about your job?

It has to be the people I meet. It's such a privilege to work with others on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves. Whilst this can at first seem daunting, remember that by taking small steps we can achieve the big goals - every journey starts with taking that first step and then you'll be closer than you've ever been before.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Three years ago I decided to leave the corporate world in search of greater meaning and purpose in the work I wanted to do. For a few months I was a volunteer for The Woodland Trust, helping plant trees on a large project near my home.

I realised my passion was to work with and help others. This led me to become a carer for people struggling with different stages of dementia, followed by a role as a carer specialising in end-of-life and palliative care.

Working with those at the end of their lives gave me such a change in perspective.
I realised the importance of making the most of our opportunities and not being held back by fear of the unknown.

This led me to coaching, where I re-trained and qualified. I discovered that as a coach, I could work with others to help them reach their full potential and reinvigorate themselves and their lives.

Why should our clients choose you?

Anyone that knows me would tell you I'm calm, friendly, approachable and easy-going. Whilst this is true, I'd also like to add in 'trustworthy'. For coaching to work best, there needs to be a high level of trust between you and me, so we'll spend a bit of time getting to know one another. I've years of experience working in environments where trust is key, along with keeping things confidential.

We'll be working together, in a place where trust and confidentiality are a top priority. Our coaching sessions are your spaces within which to be yourself and say what you're really thinking. We'll challenge obstacles in a light-hearted way and always on your terms.

Let's take that first step together, get in touch and we'll begin your journey.

While both are focused on self-improvement, life and career coaching are two very different services. Life coaching is focused on reaching personal goals, whether that’s about relationships, building confidence, or finding meaning in life. Career coaching helps with challenges associated with your career. A career coach may help you cultivate skills such as career planning, interview techniques, CV writing and building confidence.

A business coach (or business consultant) is someone who can provide an outside perspective of you and your business, to provide new insight and strategies to help you reach your business goals. They’re trained in supporting a range of business goals, from driving sales and boosting revenue to supporting more personal career development, like building strong leadership qualities or improving focus and efficiency. Whatever your pain points, a business coach will help you tackle them head-on. They’re typically successful business owners themselves which means they can bring valuable experience to the table!

Whether you’re a one-person start-up or the managing director of a multinational company, we could all benefit from career coaching. Someone from the outside will be able to provide a fresh perspective on issues that you may not even have realised existed! If you’ve got a vision but have no idea how to make it into a reality, then a career coach will help you to break down your goals into manageable chunks to achieve them.

Whatever stage you’re at in your professional journey, a career coach can help you get there, whether it’s making small wins or a big change. If you’re stuck in a rut or looking for a major change in your career or business, a good business coach will help you to earn much more than the cost of their services.
