Do you ever feel like you’re not achieving your true potential? Are there emotional issues from the past that still hold you back today? Does the environment you are in make it difficult to showcase your talent and achieve the success that you’re truly capable of? I’m a trained personal coach with a decade of experience helping individuals overcome challenges and accomplish their goals. I adhere to the ICF code of ethics, and a qualified user of personality assessments including Hogan, Lumina Spark and Sosie (registered by the British Psychological Society). I currently work as an organisation development consultant at the civil service coaching senior leaders on a wide range of topics, and I myself have personally experienced burn-out, lack of motivation and frustration with the lack of choices in my life. My coaching style focuses on finding patterns of behaviour which stop my clients getting what they want, and reveal choices which were once hidden from view. I have a direct and no-nonsense approach, but can be supportive, caring and empathetic when my clients need me to be. My coaching style is continually evolving, and eclectic but rooted in transactional analysis which I’m incredibly passionate about. I use my intuition to focus on what the real issue is, rather than focusing on what might be a surface level issue, and I provide reassurance and confidence to my clients when exploring new choices and change

What do you love most about your job?

The fact that a simple conversation lasting 20 to 40 mins can create an incredible amount of insight. I partner with people to support them with whatever they wish to change.

Having experienced significant change myself through coaching, I enjoy facilitating change, creating awareness with my clients, watching them grow and develop.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I enjoy coaching and am passionate about people development, and want to work more freely. Being my own boss has been something I have wanted for a few years now. I am taking small steps towards this and enjoying the experience

Why should our clients choose you?

All coaches are different and have their unique style and approach.

I am a trained coach and adhere to the ICF guidelines with over 150hrs experience. I work cleanly, meaning that my coaching is fully centred and focussed on my clients. I use a wide range to psychological theory in my coaching, and will often teach my clients in order to create sustainable change.
I have a straight forward approach, but will provide a safe space for my clients to work effectively.

While both are focused on self-improvement, life and career coaching are two very different services. Life coaching is focused on reaching personal goals, whether that’s about relationships, building confidence, or finding meaning in life. Career coaching helps with challenges associated with your career. A career coach may help you cultivate skills such as career planning, interview techniques, CV writing and building confidence.

A business coach (or business consultant) is someone who can provide an outside perspective of you and your business, to provide new insight and strategies to help you reach your business goals. They’re trained in supporting a range of business goals, from driving sales and boosting revenue to supporting more personal career development, like building strong leadership qualities or improving focus and efficiency. Whatever your pain points, a business coach will help you tackle them head-on. They’re typically successful business owners themselves which means they can bring valuable experience to the table!

Whether you’re a one-person start-up or the managing director of a multinational company, we could all benefit from career coaching. Someone from the outside will be able to provide a fresh perspective on issues that you may not even have realised existed! If you’ve got a vision but have no idea how to make it into a reality, then a career coach will help you to break down your goals into manageable chunks to achieve them.

Whatever stage you’re at in your professional journey, a career coach can help you get there, whether it’s making small wins or a big change. If you’re stuck in a rut or looking for a major change in your career or business, a good business coach will help you to earn much more than the cost of their services.
