What do you love most about your job?

I have been a qualified psychologist for over 30 years, in the UK, Europe, Middle East and the US, as a clinician, university/college lecturer, speaker and author. I love the variety and seeing the progress of the people I work with. I am supportive, but to obtain a successful outcome, change has to happen. It is often a painful and emotional journey, but the only way for a wound to heal is to clear out all the muck and let the body mend.

Wise words from Jim Rohn, "For things to change, I have to change; for things to get better, I have to get better." You must be ready to invest time and effort to change, but you will be able to change.

I have worked with all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, none are reasons for not changing, but they are often used as excuses. It is your mind, you have the power and control, it does not control you.

Anything is possible, if you put your mind to it and want it enough.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have been employed all of my adult life by many of the leading academic and corporate businesses in the UK and internationally, from the age of 25, I had been headhunted and sought out for positions, but even knowing all I know, I saw people were not getting the support and guidance they needed. More is expected of people and workplace bullying is rife, so I decided to open my business in April 2017, to really help people learn to say no, to care for themselves as much as they care for others, to stand up to bullies and value themselves and their life.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a very solid history in the UK and internationally, but relocating to Leeds, I want to get established for local clients, I made the decision that this next year I will be home based, and pause my international speaking/training events.

I offer face to face and online sessions, I am working out of the Tower Clinic in Cookridge, very easy access, with parking, close to a bus stop and train station. It is a secure, comfortable, non-threatening location, which helps all my clients come to a peaceful and professional setting to engage in their journey of change.
