Restore7 is passionate about providing an excellent service for those with a disability, especially those who have suffered from a stroke or who have a neurological condition, and the elderly within Leeds. Whereby, enabling them to maximise their potential and restore quality of life. Restore7 was launched by Wendy Wilson in September 2011. Restore7 began as a stroke and neuro-specialist therapy practice. This provided both specialist physiotherapy and occupational therapy for people who had suffered a stroke, spinal cord lesion, traumatic brain injury or who have multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease. Our aim was to work with the person to maximise their potential to be able to participate in as full a life as is possible. In 2013 Restore7 expanded to provide a personal rehabilitation service to: support disabled / elderly people with things that they either needed to do or wanted to do within their home and / or community. This element has expanded over the years. In 2022 Restore7 Ltd became CQC registered as a provider of Domiciliary Care. Restore7 is in a unique position by providing both Stroke and Neuro Specialist care and rehabilitation. Restore7 premises comprises of 2 rooms (therapy clinic and office) located in Gledhow Mount Mansion. The premises has the advantages of: • Being accessible to many areas of Leeds • Disabled car parking, access, and disabled toilets • Being the only neuro-specialist therapy clinic in Leeds7

What do you love most about your job?

Making a positive difference to people's lives.
The relationships that are developed with Service Users and their families whilst supporting them. Many of these are over many years.
Giving hope to individuals; often at very difficult times in their lives.



What inspired you to start your own business?

I had significant and relevant experience over many years which enabled me to begin and evolve Restore7 Ltd. This included beginning and evolving the Community Stroke Team in Leeds.
There is a gap in the services that the NHS are able to provide. I wanted to fill one of these gaps.

It is possible to supply elements of our service remotely e.g. an exercise plan and reviews with those having life coaching. However, care and aspects of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy cannot be provided remotely.
