Q&As

I love the uniqueness of each individual that I work with. Especially as a counsellor, I can see the beautiful ways people deal with life and its challenges. It is a pleasure to know that my clients have chosen me to be a part of their journey and I take the utmost pride in being there to witness their growth.

I started my own business because I aspire to help a wide variety of people - different ages, cultures, opinions and presenting issues. I am not restricted to a certain type of toolkit and can use all of my knowledge and skill.

As a client you are actively involved in decision-making and it is a collaboration between us on how to best achieve your goals. By experiencing a non-judgmental and open environment, you will build on your existing strengths to overcome your current issue. I endeavour to explore alongside you where you are now, where you want to be and help you find a way to get there.

I currently work on Zoom or via phone. I find this has helped a lot of my clients to find time for counselling that they previously have not managed.

Services

Every now and again we all struggle to navigate through life and its challenges. Therapy can provide the safe space to talk without any barriers or judgement helping you make sense of things and find a way forward. I am passionate about reducing stigma and improving mental wellbeing. I offer counselling and psychotherapy for a range of issues to adults and young people. I have a special interest in early intervention for young people faced with significant changes life.

I work with each client as an individual and tailor the sessions according to client needs and circumstances. Together we will explore where you are now, where you would like to be and where you feel stuck. This can result in a fresh, more positive outlook on your particular situation, improving your relationships and choices in life.

As a society we often feel like we have to keep on going, hoping things will get better, but there is no shame in asking for help when you feel stuck. The first step is the hardest, but also the bravest.
