When we had our initial consultation with Manvindeer it felt really good to talk about our boys issues. Initially we were unsure about the use of an e collar as our boy is a sensitive soul, but after doing some of our own research we decided to go all in with Manvindeers recommendations.
As the owners of a large breed dog with the issues he had we knew something had to change, he pulled us all over the place on the lead. He had developed fear aggression towards any stranger who showed him any attention, even making eye contact he would bark and lunge, we couldn’t have people in the house. He was also aggressive towards other intact males, we couldn’t have him off lead.
Going back to basics with heal training using the e collar for corrections was the biggest game changer, everything else fell into place, we did some work on human aggression and re call too!
Bentley now gets to live the life he deserves, he walks to heal, no pulling, not interested in other dogs, we can have people in the house and he can now be off lead in the park as his recall is amazing.
We can’t thank Manvindeer enough for what he has taught us and how it has changed our lives!
I’ve always been a real dog lover. I adore the companionship and love that these animals offer. When my own dog died a few years ago, I was reluctant to get another, so instead looked for ways I could engage with these pets and help others at the same time. I love every one of my client’s dogs in the same way I would love my own pet.
I am available for dog sitting in London, either at my house or at the client’s home. I try to keep no more than two dogs at a time, so that I can focus on dog walking, particularly for those pets that do not like socialising with others. I am also trained to work with dogs with difficult behaviours. I can help the client learn how to manage dogs with separation anxiety or aggression issues, for example.
