We recently used little lodgers to cat sit for us over a weekend after giving quite short notice. We found them to be very friendly and immediately formed a connection with our normally shy cat during the initial meeting. Once we returned, the cat seemed to be very happy, had been fed, watered and had his litter tray cleaned as well as the kitchen/his eating area being neat and tidy.Overall it was a great service on short notice and we'll definitely be using them again in future.

Monique is super friendly, organised and our dog really enjoys his playtime and training! We really see results in him and he’s tired out afterwards which is great for our excitable dog :) Always contactable and makes herself available for chats for any differences to normal visits. Highly recommended!

Fantastic people! My dog has lots of fun on her walks. Having a nervous dog I have not been able to find a suitable walker but I have finally found the one! My pup has never been happier and after a couple of walks I have seen a massive difference she is coming out her shell more and more and that is all thanks to these guys!

Small, friendly, reliable and fully insured dog walking service. Offering small group walks (max. 5) or an individual if required. Pop-in service also available for those occasions you need to be out longer than you would normally like to leave your dog alone.
I love to start the day with a walk and what better company than with a furry four legged friend or two. I have two dogs of my own, a labrador and a cocker spaniel, so I am lucky that I always have some company. Meeting new furry friends is always a pleasure, making my walks so much more enjoyable.
I wanted to find some part time work but having 2 dogs of my own, who have always had me at home and are taken out every day, I didn't want them to miss out on their walks. It's a bit like being around for the kids in the school holidays so I got to thinking about what I could do that wouldn't affect either....the answer was right in front of me! I started to help a friend out who runs her own dog walking service and decided it was right for me and ventured out on my own....the rest is lots of walk ago!
I fully appreciate that letting someone, initially a stranger, into your home and allowing them to take your dog out is a huge decision to make. I will come to meet you and your dog in your home, with no obligation, to see how they respond to me.
I walk in small groups a maximum of 5 on any one walk and I treat each of my furry friends as my own, giving them the attention and fun walks they deserve and of course the odd treat (or two!) I carry water for the end of each walk and towels for those wetter walks.
How much does a Dog Walker cost?
The price of hiring a dog walker will depend on the area of the UK in which you live, with prices typically higher in the South of England and particularly in London. The cost of hiring a dog walker will often be lower in the North of England and in Scotland and Wales.
What should I look for in a Dog Walker?
The most important thing when you’re hiring a dog walker is that both you and your dog trust them. You should also ensure that your dog walker has public liability insurance that covers them in case of damage, accident or loss. The best way to find a reliable and trustworthy dog walker is by reading reviews of previous clients. When you hire a dog walker through Bark, you can browse the profiles of dog walkers in your local area and read honest reviews from genuine customers.
How many dogs can a Dog Walker walk at once?
It is recommended that a dog walker should walk a maximum of four dogs at a time, to enable them to maintain good control of each dog. Most dog walkers will give you the option of having your dog walked alone or with other dogs. Walking with other dogs will help your dog to develop valuable social skills. However, if your dog is reactive, you may prefer for them to be walked alone.
