She also has experience in working with domestic violence, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, phobias, depression and somatic problems manifested in the body.
Ana facilitates a journey of self-discovery through various therapeutic methods. She believes that establishing an empathetic, non-judgmental and trustful relationship with the client is the key for the success of any therapy. She helps the clients to become aware of how their thinking patterns and behaviours are influenced by their past experiences. Within this exploration she supports the client to develop strategies that help them overcome their issues/problems. Ana helps to increase the self-esteem and confidence of the client, which can include acceptance of things that cannot be changed.
Ana is able to provide psychotherapy in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
