‘21 Certificate of Excellence

Active in the industry for the last 18 years, I have previously worked with some of the world’s leading photographers and lifestyle magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Time Out, and Conde Nast Traveller, which has influenced and inspired my passion for the visual arts. Beginning my career as a travel photographer, shooting in over 20 countries, I have since specialised in photographing weddings over the last five years. I take great pleasure in the craft of wedding photography – honing a relaxed, story-telling approach to capturing your special day. Previous clients have noted the naturalistic eye I bring to my work, and the ability to capture a real sense of the moment. Each wedding is unique and I, therefore, treat them as such with my contemporary but classic style. Thank you for taking the time to look through my work. For further information, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line. - Adam x www.adamlloydwilson.com

What do you love most about your job?

My passion for wedding photography started with my joy at photographing people. I found I had a gift for capturing special moments of happiness, surprise, or even sadness which make for a wonderful wedding gallery. And it seems to be working!

What inspired you to start your own business?

It was quite an organic process really, I never had big plans to be my own boss, but being a wedding photographer it kind of pushes you to be just that. And now I love it!

Why should our clients choose you?

Well, there are plenty of wedding photographers out there to choose from and a lot of impressive ones who inspire me every day. Of course, I would love you to choose me as I genuinely feel I offer a great service with an affordable and fair price tag. It comes down to if you like my style of photography I guess. I've also been told I have a calming effect which could be handy on your wedding day!

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Happy to have meetings over Zoom for you to see if the right photographer for you, but I kind of need to be there to shoot your wedding!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I wear a facemask the whole time while at your wedding and keep a safe distance. This does not in any way affect the quality of the service.

Every couple wants their wedding day to be the best day of their life. The job of a wedding photographer is to capture the memories and the emotions of your wedding day, so that you never forget it. Future generations will be able to look back on your wedding photos as a defining moment in history and feel the emotions of your day.

Although there is no requirement to have two photographers for your wedding, it allows more moments to be captured. For example, one photographer can be with the bride whilst she is getting ready whilst the other captures the arrival of the groom and the preparations for the ceremony. Having two photographers means that you’ll get shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, and capture more memories of your special day.

The number of hours of wedding photography that you need depends on how much of your day you want to document, as well as the timing of your day. Most couples choose for the photographer to arrive an hour before the ceremony to capture the final preparations, and then stay until the end of the first dance. 6 to 8 hours of coverage is usually plenty for small to medium sized weddings.
