What inspired you to start your own dog walking business?

I’ve always been a real dog lover. I adore the companionship and love that these animals offer. When my own dog died a few years ago, I was reluctant to get another, so instead looked for ways I could engage with these pets and help others at the same time. I love every one of my client’s dogs in the same way I would love my own pet.

Can you offer other pet services to clients?

I am available for dog sitting in London, either at my house or at the client’s home. I try to keep no more than two dogs at a time, so that I can focus on dog walking, particularly for those pets that do not like socialising with others. I am also trained to work with dogs with difficult behaviours. I can help the client learn how to manage dogs with separation anxiety or aggression issues, for example.

What experience do you have?

I’ve now been a dog walker in London for three years, but I have been walking my own dogs for almost my whole life. A day without a dog seems unfocused and empty. I have recently passed my exams on dog behaviours and have built up a lot of on-the job experience with this.
