"Everyone can transform from the Ugly Duckling to the Swan they are meant to be" There are moments in our life that everything looks ugly, sad, confusing. We start feeling tired all the time, people that used to be fun, are annoying now. Things have lost the sense of taste, pleasure and happiness. I would like to support you to try to find out the reason /root of the difficulty. We can work together using different tools that can be beneficial for you to achieve your goal and gain a new insight. I can offer you a safe place to express how are you feeling with no judgements and keeping the information that we share confidential. I am a qualified member of the BACP ( British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and I follow their ethical framework to keep my client and myself save. I can do home visits or if you prefer you can come to my therapy room in Hardie park in Stanford Let Hope SS17 . The sessions last for 50 minutes and if we decide to work together our sessions will start with 10 sessions at £35 per hour. £10 deposit to secure your place is needed. Payments can be done by Paypal using the mobile number 07716469334 or PayM. To pay for the sessions, I have a card reader, to make it easier for both of us. Looking forward to hearing from you.

What do you love most about your job?

The relationship that you can develop with another human being which is honest, respectful and maybe the best one we ever experience.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I realised that agencies that offer the jobs are not following the same ethos that I believe. Sometimes to me it feels that there is too much pressure in meeting targets in some companies, more than thinking about the needs of the client. The sessions are not tailored for each person, some need six sessions, while someone needs more. The client should have a choice to work with the therapist they choose. Because we are all different and unique. To achieve the benefit of the healing process, both parties need to feel comfortable.

Why should our clients choose you?

What makes me different is that I can speak four languages: Spanish, English, Hindi, Sindhi. Because of my cultural background (being raised with Indian values) in a western world, in this case, Spain and following the tradition, I had an arranged marriage. I came to the UK 18 years ago.
So having to break the rules and traditions that did not favour me, as a person was a challenge. I have life experience, so I am not here to tell how and what to do.
I would like to say, I am down to earth and I know how difficult life can be.
I had been a client myself in a therapy room and to overcome those demons and acknowledge those hidden skeletons in the wardrobe, is really scary and the bravery needed is huge.

And to give you peace of mind, here are two testimonials of two of my clients from this year 2018:
Client A:
"After admitting to myself I needed help in learning how to be happy and not rely on other people for happiness, I reached out to this wonderful lady who turned my life around in just 7 weeks! She taught me it is ok to be selfish and put myself first and make me realize my worth. This has helped me to become more confident in myself and to not be scared to speak my mind if it means I am happy. Her way of counselling along with her bubbly personality is great and I would really recommend her services to anybody that is struggling."

Client B
"This lady has changed my life and made me look at things in a completely different way when my life was at my lowest point she showed me how to find happiness would recommend to anyone that is struggling"

Counselling FAQs

Your expert Counsellor will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to advise on what is most suitable. Use Bark to get free quotes and schedule an appointment today.

At your appointment, you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained Counsellor who will listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes and find your own solutions to problems. However, they will not usually give advice or tell you what to do. The Counsellor might sum up what they understand you have been saying so that they can help you to form a plan of action.

Counselling can take place in a number of ways. These include:

  • Face to face session

  • Group session

  • Phone session

  • Email session

  • Online through live chat services or video conferencing software

You may be offered a single session of Counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your Counsellor.

You can be confident that any of the Bark local Counsellors listed will give you a reliable and efficient service to help you feel better.

You could look for Counsellors that are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) which means that they have met the PSA’s required professional standards to practise.

Before you choose a Counsellor, you could read testimonials and read details of the issues they can help with on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out reviews from past customers too.

Counselling can help with many issues. These include the following:

  • Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or eating disorders.

  • Physical health conditions such as infertility.

  • Difficult life events such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress.

  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as low self-esteem or anger.

  • Sexual identity issues.

  • Divorce.

  • Redundancy and work issues.

  • Phobias and fears.

Absolutely! Many Counsellors provide their services remotely via an online video call or the telephone. Not only is it more convenient, but it's also the preferable option for many people who would feel more comfortable holding the session from the comfort of their own home.
