AVO Catering Co.
“AVO was grown from one simple idea, to create a catering company that provides fresh dishes inspired by local Cornish ingredients, in the most sustainable way possible”
We are Danny and Mark..
Two chefs from the Cornish coast who met whilst working at a bustling cafe on one of Cornwall's finest beaches.
Together we aimed to create a Cornish catering company that utilises the wonderful produce the county has to offer, in a considerate and contemporary way.
Absolutely incredible meal made for a 60th birthday party on a family trip to Cornwall. We enjoyed a four course meal, each course was sublime and well presented and just the right amount to feel satisfied but able to eat more! Dean was very friendly and professional. Highly rate and would definitely use again if and when we return to Cornwall!
Slice Pizza Cornwall
We keep things simple here at Slice Pizza, Cornwall. We offer traditional, Italian-style pizzas, street food fresh, made to order and cooked in our wood fired ovens. Our pizzas have big flavours and delicate bases.
Our secret is in our slow-rising sour dough (which we gently make fresh every day) and carefully created homemade sauces, topped only with ingredients we are proud to serve;
Fantastic pizzas at River Valley. My boys had one every week when we were on holiday... pity your not in Yorkshire would definitely recommend
At Borgia Bull we offer a wide range of catering services.
From small intimate private dinners to corporate buffets.
We pride ourselves on creating traditional menus with a unique, local twist. And being in Cornwall the produce available is simply outstanding

Wonderful soulful food by the loveliest couple on Earth! Cannot wait to meet them again, and have their tasty, healthy and unique dishes. They have made the @IGOAdventures Weekend Challenge even more special. Guys, it was great to spend some time with you and thank you for your fantastic work!!
Pizza da Campo
Pizza da Campo roughly translated means 'field pizza'. That's exactly what we do; travelling the narrow country lanes of Cornwall in our little Piaggio Ape tuk tuk, and cooking in the villages, campsites and festival fields. We love our work, it's our passion and like to give our guests some theatre as well as very delicious and fresh seasonal food. Being fortunate to take advantage of the wonderful seasonal produce that Cornwall gives us.
We are a Cornish catering company that serves the finest quality local, rustic, wild and foraged produce from our vintage van or field kitchen at weddings, events and festivals in Cornwall and the south west of England
Bespoke catering services for all occasions: weddings, christenings, funerals, anniversary and birthday dinner parties, corporate functions, holiday cooking and canape parties. We carefully source local ingredients and everything is made fresh by our experienced and knowledgeable chef . We can provide waitress services.
We hired them for our mothers 60th, they came to the hotel complex we were at and served 18 of us in the lodge we were in. Food was great and the price was very reasonable. The two waitresses allowed us to really enjoy the evening and they left the kitchen cleaner than before they arrived!! Top service, would recommend to anyone. They were open to discussion about alterations and dietary needs, responded to emails promptly.
Harbour & Field
A collective of the finest food offerings from land and sea. With over 20 years experience working with some of the best chefs in the world, we know a thing or two about food. After working as executive chef for one of London’s top event caterers, Will made the move to Cornwall to do what most chefs want to do, open their own place. After seven years of success at the Watch House in St Mawes, we’ve set up Harbour and Field to offer event catering from our new kitchen in Truro.
My favourite place for a Roast dinner The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The pub is clean and spacious. Highly recommend you eat here. I have started to come here once a month to treat myself and catch up with a old school friend.
Caterers of fresh and creative menus for weddings, events , BBQ's and buffets anywhere in Cornwall.
We used Cornwall Chef for our Wedding in October. Steve was amazing start to finish. We cannot thank him enough for how accommodating he was to make our day work exactly as we envisaged it. Not to mention barbecuing in the middle of a storm "sheltered" only by a gazebo! Despite the weather Steve delivered delicious food to all our guests, most of whom found us to comment on how incredible it was. Would highly recommend for any event.
After every place being booked my wife came across KC's and we got booked in during the dinner rush, the service was nice and friendly, there was 9 of us so lots of orders to take and make, we hardly had to wait for our starters and mains and must say the quality of the food was outstanding! And even the prices were so low. Everyone loved there food and the service, makes me so glad every place was booked as we got to book our new favourite restaurant KC's.
Butchers' was a really nice "surprise" find when we visited Newquay last week, and was definitely comparable to the food we had at Rick Stein's The Seafood Restaurant, which we visited the next day. It's pretty easy to find and is probably one of the nicer looking restaurants around in Newquay. The staff are really friendly and professional - our waiter offered to take our picture, and was generally a very nice man. We didn't have a starter, but for mains we had a sort of seafood soup, which seemed pretty good value for money, considering the amount of seafood it contained (various types of fish, three large tiger prawns, some smaller prawns, mussels, cockles and two crab claws) - it's messy, but the staff are prepared and put out all the various utensils required, including a finger bowl and antibacterial gel! (That's a first for me...!) Hubby had the steak and scallops - these are some of the freshest, sweetest scallops I've ever had. If you're feeling adventurous, I would try the Cornish mead (I had strawberry flavour) - it's very drinkable, and (in my opinion) pretty strong! But very enjoyable. Butchers' is well worth a visit if you're around Newquay.
Myself, my wife and my parents spent 4 nights at The Atlantic Hotel from the 27th June through to the 2nd July 2018. What a lovely place this hotel is. From the moment you step inside to the moment you check out, the staff are friendly, well dressed and professional at all times, always available to give help and advice if needed. For example, one of our rooms electric sockets was broken, and it was repaired within the hour. Our rooms were spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. The on site restaurant "Silks" is fantastic. There's a good reason you have to book a table in advance, as the food and table service is excellent. The cost of staying here isn't cheap, but this is one hotel that is worth every penny it costs.
I can’t thank Martin and Charlotte enough for the amazing job they did at catering our 50th birthday event at Wortham Manor. From start to finish Martin’s passion was obvious. We had a great local, seasonal menu that went down a storm. The execution and professionalism on the night was 2nd to none! Thanks so much. Highly recommend you to anyone.
The Barley is just off one of the main streets behind the Cathedral in Truro, it's a fairly large bar with plenty of seating . They show sports on large tv's for most of the week and the place can get pretty busy on a weekend evening, drink prices are pretty fair with drinks offer advertised behind the bar. What keeps bringing me back here is the outside seating, that in the summer after work is a fantastic place to unwind, just listening to the breeze in the surrounding tree's and the running water of the nearby stream, really relaxing as there's also hardly anyone there at that time of day!
