Thank you to Lisa, Simon and team for a wonderful night. The food was fantastic as was the hospitality. Alyx attended to our table and made sure we were topped up with food and drink and she even got to grips with my phone to take some photo's. Lovely little quiet pub in a tiny village, so very easy to find. Huge garden at the back which host occasional events and mini-beer festivals throughout the summer. Refreshed and tastefully modernised interior with a decent choice of beers and good food. I challenge you not to feel the "wood" floor to see what it is made of - you'll see what I mean when you visit! Dog-friendly, and handy for walking the Three Shires Way. Also check out the remains of the Norman motte and bailey castle on the edge of the village - one of the finest archaeological sites in Bedfordshire. More...

travelling all over europe with work, i get to eat out a lot and i have to say that as a husband and wife team this pub is top notch! unpretentious food but top quality and very well priced cooked fresh, no boil in the bag stuff here, sweets to die for also, we enjoyed it that much visiting again this week to try the new tapas menu and having lived in spain for allmost 15years i know a bit about tapas so looking forward to it. once again this pub is magic give it a go. p n letts More...

Combining the skills from previous careers and wanting to create something with both my business partner & husband.

I have always delivered and will go that extra mile to ensure that my client has received the best service possible. People eat with their eyes, so food should be vibrant and exciting. However, I am always mindful that client's have budgets to meet, so I have a flexible approach to business. Quality and quantity are very important factors when delivering a catering service.
