Hello. My name is Louise and I'm a qualified therapist working in the Walsall, Willenhall, and Sutton Coldfield areas of the West Midlands. There are many reasons why we struggle with the stresses of life, but professional counselling gives you the space to think and talk about yourself and the issues causing your confusion or distress. Counselling gives you a chance to talk with someone who listens and then supports you in identifying solutions and overcoming the problems you have raised.

Stasia is incredible! When I was searching for a counsellor Bark was the last place I thought of but I gave it a shot anyway and I was praying for someone who had the same Christian values as me and all of a sudden I came across Stasia.
She was very responsive, communicated effectively and ensured that my wellbeing was a priority even when I tried to make excuses about not having sessions anymore.
She is all about ensuring her client gets to the root of their trauma and helping them to work through that by giving them practicals to do after each session.
I really value Stasia's time, efficiency, integrity, introspection and her love for God.
I would recommend her 10x over!

I am a trusted Bark counsellor. I am willing to help someone work through incredibly sensitive and challenging issues. This is because of the incredible ways I've been helped myself through very personal challenges like... * Dealing with the loss of my mum in 2020 and the subsequent family challenges that arose from this. * Forgiving my mum for not being a conventional mum because of her bi-polar condition. Facing the fear that I had inherited this condition and using this to prioritise my mental health. * Working through my experiences of being bullied growing up and learning to stand up for myself. * Leading myself through career transitions including redundancy, and leaving full-time employment to become a professional Mentor, Coach and Counsellor. * Challenging my spiritual views and exploring my Christian faith from a more balanced perspective to live a more principle-centred life. I also qualified as a life coach over 12 years ago, but what's made the biggest difference is being surrounded by fellow mentors, coaches and counsellors with an exceptional commitment to themselves and their families. Please do NOT get in touch if you're... * looking for quick-fix solutions * not willing to look at yourself and your responsibility in working through challenges * not willing to invest time, money AND EFFORT in yourself and your growth I'd especially love to hear from you if you're... * looking for meaningful ways to honour the legacy of a lost loved one. * a young professional seeking to make a significant difference through your career. * keen to learn to stand up for yourself in a genuine way having had the experience of being pushed about and/or lacking confidence. * open to learning things about yourself that may be challenging to discover, but will help you to grow. * wanting to be connected with like-hearted and like-spirited people. * looking to live a more principle-centred life through demonstrating values like love, empathy, care, compassion, honour and altruism. My usual rate is between £60-£75 per session depending on your circumstances. I always try to be flexible with rates where there is a genuine need and not let finances get in the way of someone committed to healing themselves through counselling, mentoring and coaching. My primary intention is to ensure someone gets the best possible help they need, whether with me or someone else. I love most the fact that I can choose who I work with and who I help. Where possible I want to build meaningful long-term relationships with people because that's where the true transformation happens.
Ideally I want to be working with those who are willing to explore, question and examine every area of their life, because through that process, the biggest breakthroughs are possible.
The biggest thing was the opportunity to help others in the way that I've been helped. My mentors, coaches and counsellors have enabled me to face huge challenges, to face fears that may have dogged me for a lifetime... sometimes without me even knowing they were there!
To see others make significant breakthroughs in all areas of their lives and careers is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling; especially when they go on to help others in the way they've been helped.
My first question I would ask any prospective mentor, coach or counsellor is who they are being mentored, coached and counselled by? Personally speaking I feel it lacks personal and professional integrity to not have one when offering this service to others.
I have been mentored, coached and counselled for the last 13 years and been supported to break through in all areas of my life. It's an ongoing process, so I continue to invest in my growth and development.
Each day I also have the privilege to connect with a community of fellow mentors, coaches and counsellors who have supported me through some of my biggest challenges. I have ongoing access to an incredible level of wisdom that has helped me and I am fortunate where I can share it with others through my work.
Yes, I do the significant majority of my work online via Zoom. I'll add that I record all sessions for the benefit of both myself and the client because we quickly forget so much of what we say and hear!
I conduct most of my mentoring, coaching and counselling sessions through Zoom.
