Waterloo Coaching Clinic

I have over 20 years of experience coaching individuals and leaders in the private and public sector (specifically IT and healthcare). My background is in Human Resource Management and I am passionate about helping others succeed both in their career and in life. This experience makes me a highly effective life coach, helping others with habits, spirituality and relationships. I am also a bereavement coach. Having lost my son to an opioid overdose in 2013, I specialize in helping others deal with losses of all kinds - family, friends, pets, etc. My empathetic, compassionate approach, based on lived-experience, will help you move forward out of your darkness in order to begin to live again. Struggling with a loved one with addiction? I can help you develop tools to reclaim YOUR life and YOUR control. I also provide parent support coaching for those challenged by their kids. Take care of yourself. It's hard. I get it. In 2017 I had bariatric surgery. I will also coach those seeking safe, healthy solutions to permanent weight loss. If you are contemplating gastric bypass, sleeve, roux-en-y, I can walk with you through the process and coach you to success. If you have had your surgery and are struggling, you need a coach more than ever to maintain what you worked so hard for. I am located in Waterloo, ON however I perform all coaching remotely and therefore location is not an issue. I hope to hear from you!

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the look of the "aha" moment on a client's face when they come to a life-changing realization. It is so satisfying to see a client transform over a matter of a few short weeks. Coaching works!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Where to begin. So many things have inspired me. Working in human resources for many years taught me to be an outstanding listener. Seeing people become better employees always translated into improving their lives overall.

My son's death from an overdose definitely inspired me to also become a bereavement coach. My loss was so horrific and I didn't know anyone else who had a loss like that. It inspired me to create my own support group for substance loss. It also inspired me to help get the Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act passed (google me on that). Now my inspiration comes from helping others move forward with their lives.

Why should our clients choose you?

Why choose me as your coach? I'm real. I'm empathetic. I'm focused. I'm funny. I can help you change. I can help you become unstuck and move on. I can help you reclaim your life and start living. I build confidence. I reduce anxiety. I help you develop skills you didn't know you had. I allow you to see the light in your cloud of darkness. I'm flexible. I'm here for you.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

My coaching practice has and always will be provided either by phone or video conference.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Fortunately, I have not had to make any changes to my practice because of Covid-19.
