I was treated to a mother's day afternoon tea and the food was fantastic! My two little girls very much enjoyed their smaller afternoon tea as well. Lovely vegetarian sandwiches, not just the usual cheese, I really appreciate the extra effort to create some more unusual fillings. The bakery was obviously very busy but we didn't see a single group turned away over lunchtime even though they had not booked, the staff tried very hard to seat everyone immediately and only told a few guests there would be a longer wait. We had prebooked and despite it being very busy, we never felt rushed to vacate our table. We've always liked this place for a cake or an ice cream and I'm really glad we came here for a special tea today.
The chocolate and raspberry scones were amazing - we had to buy another couple to bring home!
