Excellent little afternoon tea here. Glad we booked in advance, because the only empty table was the one that had a little "reserved" sign on it! Excellent selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes and the best thing was we got to take a doggy bag home! There's no way you're finishing this! The dark chocolate/raspberry scone is gorgeous! The only quibbles I have is that the drinks should have been served at roughly the same time as the food, and the staff were slow to clean the tables around us. But the latter could have been due to the amount of people in on a (somewhat) sunny Sunday afternoon. Definitely worthwhile checking out for sheer yumminess. Diet starts tomorrow though. More...

Had a lovely trip to the little bakery today! My 6 year old is allergic to dairy and the staff went out of their way to suggest what he could have and got him df choc cake! He was delighted!

My first visit and loved it, especially as I could bring my wee Daschund Bella in too. I came in for a spot of lunch which was very delicious and ended off with a latte and one of their scrumptious chocolate Cream Egg cup cake Definitely recommended.

We used The Little Bakery for our boys 1st Birthday cakes, my wife's 30th Birthday cake and have also ordered one for my Mums 80th Birthday. Honestly havent ever tasted cake like this. Everyone who was lucky enough to get some cake loved it and someone from Newcatle wanted to order a Christening cake through them. Treat yourself. You deserve this!! More...

I was treated to a mother's day afternoon tea and the food was fantastic! My two little girls very much enjoyed their smaller afternoon tea as well.
Lovely vegetarian sandwiches, not just the usual cheese, I really appreciate the extra effort to create some more unusual fillings. The bakery was obviously very busy but we didn't see a single group turned away over lunchtime even though they had not booked, the staff tried very hard to seat everyone immediately and only told a few guests there would be a longer wait. We had prebooked and despite it being very busy, we never felt rushed to vacate our table. We've always liked this place for a cake or an ice cream and I'm really glad we came here for a special tea today.
The chocolate and raspberry scones were amazing - we had to buy another couple to bring home!
