I couldn’t recommend James enough. Not only is he a great guy, but every lesson feels personal, getting 2 minutes out of every minute.
I have learnt and am continuing to learn so much from James’ knowledge and skills that he has gained from many years in the industry. This has really pushed me to take risks and try different styles of songs to work on- focusing on the characters emotions.

James is honestly the best acting through song teacher I have ever worked with. I cannot praise him enough! His in depth knowledge on musicals alone is endless.
He thinks of things to apply to your songs that I never would have thought of myself and each idea works so well. He definitely gets the best out of you by trying so many different things within a song to then apply the one that suits you and the character the most!
He’s also just a great person to talk to. My confidence wasn’t always the best and he always made me feel at ease and welcomed in his sessions. Honestly just an amazing person and teacher!

When you do what you love it doesn’t feel like work!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I find it incredibly inspiring to help others achieve their goals. Getting a call that a student of mine had secured a West end job - was a better feeling than myself getting one!
Why should our clients choose you?
I keep sessions fun, informative and very much work on the students instinct. They have to feel in control of their own voice and acting choices. Ultimately it needs to be fun!
