What do you love most about your job?
Singing! <-- I would say that, wouldn't I?
What I love most when teaching is sharing my knowledge with my students, chatting with them, getting to know them on a personal and musical level, watching them developing and also learning with them -- when you start teaching, you learn that you never stop learning; teaching, is the next level of learning and I love having these epiphany moments with my students, when we are, not just 'student and teacher', but are both singers, learning together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To be honest, I had given up on teacher a couple of years ago -- it wasn't working for me and I didn't know what to do; I was still learning myself.
But recently, I was found by a mother who requested singing lessons for her daugthers -- from the moment I caleld her back, something within me clicked and I just knew what to say, how to approach the sistuation, introduce myself, what I do and I suddenly knew how to teach kids, with confidence. Now, we enjoy lessons together, every Wednesday; the girls are developing fast and they are so curious about singing (I love it!)
P.S I also teach adults!
Why should our clients choose you?
One of the reason I'm a great private teacher, is because I love one-to-one interaction! You get to know someone and make a connection with them; it's more personal, you can't get that from teaching a class (at least, I can't!) I also consider myself half extrovert, half introvert -- I especially empathise with the introvert, as I grew up as a very shy person. You'll find I am very friendly and gentle in my approach.
