I love helping people to have that light bulb moment where something that felt very difficult is suddenly so clear. Psychology and philosophy can feel very daunting, but it's incredibly rewarding when you finally understand the importance of the concepts in the fields.
I would like to advance my career in psychology, but I am also growing my family, so working from home as a Psychology Tutor helps me to stay connected to my career but also have the flexibility I need for childcare.
I am currently working at the University of Sussex International Study Centre as a Psychology Tutor, so I have a good understanding about what it takes to get by in a psychology course, and to excel for those who are very ambitious. I have a strong academic background. I have achieved a 1 in most of my university coursework, and never lower than a 2.1. I have been fortunate enough to study across 3 different universities, so I have been exposed to psychology coursework from many different perspectives.
Yes, I usually teach online. It is not as challenging as some might feel. I have coursework for most of the GSCE and A Level exam boards, and I use a lot of screen sharing and document sharing during lessons. I can also edit essays online via screen sharing.
Online teaching fortunately does not carry any Covid-19 risk. For any in person lessons I am more than happy to take any precautions that students feel are necessary for a safe learning environment.

She’s a lovely tutor would definitely recommend if you are struggling with sociology and just want to double check any knowledge or re-go over information and relearn subjects. Has definitely helped me through my sociology a level

I’m homeschooled and started with Parvin halfway through year 10 when I picked up RS, I had no idea about the subject but soon enough I was getting full marks and aiming for 9s, she’s the best teacher and tutor that I have ever had and I can’t wait to have her as a tutor again if I need one when I am in year 13 and doing RS and phycology at a level which she also teaches. I could not recommend her enough and the confidence she has given me is incredible and not only is she just a teacher but she is so supportive and has really helped me in all aspects of learning and my attitude towards it. She couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient and always available for students if she wanted to be and my family are very impressed as she clearly cares a lot about what she does. She is an incredible teacher and has never let me down and I can’t wait to sit my RS GCSE thanks to her.
