I am an experience senior teacher with over 8 years experience at an outstanding independent school. Since August 2021 my full time role has been delivering online tutoring as The Prep School Online. We specialise in teaching children aged 4 to 16, whether they are aiming for the 11 plus, to get ahead of the national curriculum or in preparation for GSCE English and Maths.
The range of children that I get to support. Each has their own challenges and objectives, this ensures that no lesson is ever the same!
I wanted to reach a wider demographic of children and teach across the key stages of education. The time spent honing online schooling during Covid, showed how much scope there was to deliver learning and progress children, with the convenience of them being online.
I am a senior teacher, with am excellent track record of teaching across a range of subjects and year groups. Added to this a bring a wealth of life experience to this profession, which is ever present in my lessons.
I have honed my online tutoring to deliver the maximum amount of subject matter and progress within each lesson and use best educational software, to ensure that I am as connected to your child's work, as if I were stood next to them in the classroom.
I only teach remotely - thereby giving you the freedom to have your children learn from wherever you are.
Fortunately - being online somewhat helps with this!

We have been incredibly pleased with the support and tuition our son has received. Anna has been fantastic at identifying the areas where he needed the most help, particularly with the trickier areas of maths, as well as developing his understanding of VR and NVR strategies and techniques for the 11+. What has really stood out to us is the way Anna has tailored the sessions to his individual needs. She has not only focused on improving his knowledge and ability, but also on teaching him practical strategies for approaching different question types, managing his time and thinking through problems logically. This has made a noticeable difference to both his skills and his confidence. Communication with us as parents has also been excellent. She has always kept us well informed about what they have been working on, where our son has been making progress and which areas still needed further attention. Her feedback has been clear, helpful and reassuring, and it has given us a really good understanding of his development throughout the tuition. Most importantly, she has built a really positive relationship with our son. He has always felt comfortable with her and genuinely enjoys the sessions. He has spoken positively about the work they have done together and has appreciated the way she explains things and encourages him when he finds something challenging. This has helped him become much more confident in his own ability and willing to tackle questions that he might previously have found daunting. We have seen a clear improvement in both his mathematical skills and his understanding of VR and NVR, but perhaps the biggest impact has been the confidence he has gained. He is now much more willing to have a go, persevere when something is difficult and use the strategies he has been taught. We would highly recommend Anna as a tutor. She is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in her students’ progress. We are extremely grateful for all the time, effort and support she has given our son and feel that her tuition has made a real and positive difference to his 11+ preparation.

My son studied at this tuition centre for six months, and we have had a wonderful experience. All the tutors are very understanding, supportive, and cooperative. They take the time to understand each student’s needs and provide the right guidance and encouragement. We are very happy with the support and teaching my son received. I would highly recommend this tuition to all parents looking for a caring and supportive learning environment for their children.
