'Stuck in thought?' I can help. Have you ever found yourself 'stuck in thought'? That's when it seems that a way of thinking that you don't want just won't go away. People who are 'stuck in thought' can feel helpless, hopeless and lacking in confidence. But there is hope. I love coaching especially in the area of personal development and I'm passionate about helping you to break free from thought patterns that aren't helpful, building your confidence and giving you the tools that you need to make the changes that you want. I specialise in helping people break free of phobias, overburdening stress, anxieties and obsessive and compulsive tendencies and depression. There are many, powerful Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques and Mindfulness-based activities that can help you break free of phobias, obsessions and compulsions and general as well as specific anxieties, stress and depression. It will require hard work and commitment but it will be so worth it! I offer career coaching and I have helped clients seek promotion, work in the first place and help affirm a career path that they have chosen providing them with valuable skills in how to present their best in interview and learn what to do and what not to do with presentation software in interview. I provide business coaching having worked with both middle and senior staff from Addenbrooke's Hospital and I am a member of the coaching team providing coaching for Area Deans within the Diocese of Essex. With many years' experience in the Primary Education sector I have taught children from all ages in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Recently, however, I also became a Mentor at Harlow College providing learning support for students. I have also led the development and implementation of my previous school's staff coaching system. Drawing from established good practice, I tailored the model to meet the school's specific needs. This system has been in place for over three years and has had a major impact on school development, particularly in the areas of Teaching and Learning and in Leadership and Management.

What do you love most about your job?

I love most working with clients on challenges they want to improve or overcome. It's a joy and a privilege to see someone breaking free of what's been holding them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My desire to want to help people. As a former teacher of over twenty years, I know the pleasure it brings when children learn something new, when they shift their mindset to discover that they can do something and the release and opportunity that this provides. Coaching, using psychology, neuroscience, CBT and Mindfulness is enabling me to do see that positive change occurring in others again and again.

Why should our clients choose you?

I care. I care passionately about helping people bring about the changes that they want to develop. I continuously improve my understanding and skills in various approaches and techniques including psychology (with Derby University), online courses such as neuroscience and neuroeconomics with some of the top universities throughout the world and attended workshops and online webinars with highly qualified Association for Coaching speakers. I believe that I am well qualified and experienced to help clients change their mindset and help them to get free from unwanted thinking patterns and behaviours.
