What do you love most about your job?

We love our trusting culture and we love it when we see this culture between us, our carers and our clients and then when a wonderful long lasting relationship is formed. It's what makes for great care. We've seen clients who don't trust our carers, the care rarely lasts long and is seldom successful. We realise however that this may not be for everyone. We have all the advantages of an online company but we also love meeting new clients and meeting new carers face to face. We love recording our video care guide and going live on Facebook and we love the effectiveness of our short, sharp and efficient online reporting.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Our Founder, Christopher's Grandad needed care at home for 2 years. The care that he received was of poor quality. Rushed visits and a different carer each day, often 7 different carers across 7 days. A lack of consistency and quality and the reports were written in a scruffy folder which we rarely had access to. Christopher joined an agency and provided care before starting CareChooser. He was given no choice on clients, schedules and also wasn't trusted which left him feeling demotivated and demoralised. Oh and half the time was spent recording the visit leaving only a half of the time to care. We provide a better experience for our carers; better pay, flexibility, choice, simple effective reporting and trust.

We started CareChooser to do better. To provide better care. More consistent care, we'll match you to 1 or 2 (if necessary) consistent carers in your area. Our carers are warm and caring (it's part of our vision that everyone is warm and caring).
