I cannot praise this care company enough. The carers are genuinely caring, compassionate, and always on the ball. The management team communicates effectively, not only with the staff but also with our family, which gives us great confidence and peace of mind. It truly feels like having an extended family helping to care for your loved one. Knowing that my dad is being looked after by people who are attentive, reliable, and kind has relieved a huge amount of pressure and stress for our family. We are incredibly grateful for the support, professionalism, and compassion shown every day. I would highly recommend this care company to anyone looking for high-quality, person-centred care for a loved one. More...

Care Review for Alice J. ThirkettleFAO: Amanda O’CallaghanDear Amanda O’Callaghan,I would like to share my experience of the care provided to my mother, Alice J. Thirkettle, by ChelmscareOverall, I am extremely pleased with the standard of care my mother receives. The carers are reliable, professional, and always complete their duties efficiently and on time. The support provided by both the care staff and office team has been invaluable, particularly when arranging pharmacy services and ensuring medication supplies are available when needed. My mother’s care is consistently delivered to a very high standard. Carers assist with personal care, pad changes, feeding support, communication, and maintaining her comfort and wellbeing. During periods of hot weather, they have shown genuine concern by carrying out welfare checks and ensuring cooling fans are operating and the home remains comfortable and well ventilated.Following hospital admissions, the carers have been extremely helpful in organising my mother’s belongings and ensuring she is settled and comfortable. Bedding is changed promptly when required, and communication between the carers and myself is always excellent. The team is proactive in ensuring essential supplies such as pads and wet wipes are ordered in good time, preventing any shortages. My mother requires soft food, and carers take great care to support her meals safely and patiently. Drinks are thickened when necessary to ensure her comfort and wellbeing.I have been particularly impressed by the attention given to cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a comfortable environment. The carers consistently demonstrate kindness, respect, and dignity in all aspects of their work.I would like to express my sincere thanks to Axay Gabani for his professionalism and prompt communication whenever GP assistance is required.Special thanks also go to Saqlain, Syeda, Adeeba, and Edith, who have consistently exceeded expectations through their dedication, compassion, and willingness to help whenever needed.I would rate Chelmscare 5 out of 5 for the quality of care, professionalism, reliability, and overall service provided.I would also like to thank the Chelmscare office administration team, particularly Amanda O’Callaghan, for their continued support, responsiveness, and excellent communication regarding my mother’s care.P.S. I would also like to acknowledge the additional support provided beyond normal duties, including assistance with garden maintenance and carpentry work when required. These tasks were completed professionally and were greatly appreciated.Thank you to everyone at Chelmscare for your continued dedication and support.Yours sincerely,Tim ThirkettleOn behalf of Alice J. My mum has received excellent care at Rosedale. The home is warm, friendly, and has a genuine family feel where everyone matters. The staff consistently go the extra mile to provide a safe and comfortable environment for Mum, and they always keep me updated. They are engaging, know each resident’s needs extremely well, and are open and willing to discuss any concerns I may have. They are also very supportive of me chatting to Mum over the phone whenever needed. The team has been incredibly helpful with hospital visits, arranging doctors, and ensuring Mum receives the personal care she needs. Rosedale also offers hairdressing, chiropody, and optician services, which makes a real difference. Residents are always clean, well dressed, and clearly well cared for. The meals are very good, and the home maintains a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We visit regularly and are always made to feel welcome. Staff know us when we call and provide detailed updates on Mum’s care. The manager, Gina, has been outstanding. She is supportive, attentive, and keeps me informed at all times. I am very grateful for the exceptional care Mum receives at Rosedale. More...

I remember the time I spent looking for a suitable Care Home for my dad. I had checked out several before coming to Rosedale. As soon as I walked in, I had a gut feeling and knew this was the place for my late dad. Very sadly, he passed away in January. At the time, I was met with a very warm welcome. After spending a lot of time with my dad at Rosedale, I could see my dad was so happy. It was literally home for him. Every single member of staff could not have been more caring, considerate and dedicated to their work. All residents were always well groomed and well attended to. My dad was always offered an alternative meal if needed (as he was always specific about his food) Carers were always happy to provide him and other residents with whatever they wanted. My dad was wheelchair bound, but was given his independence to move around the care home and out into the garden when he wanted to. Rosedale is perfectly managed and staffed. I was continually kept up to date and informed with anything to do with my dad. The Care Home was always clean. Residents have good options of meals, opportunities for activities in and out of the care home and wonderful summer garden parties every year. In the 3 and a half happy years my dad spent at Rosedale, about which he always spoke well and was always relaxed and content during that time, I can only say that I would never have chosen any other place other than Rosedale after my dad's time and mine and my husband's experience of time we spent with my dad whilst at Rosedale. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would definitely recommend Rosedale. They give the love, care and attention that all residents need and commend every single member of staff, as it is truly a Care Home.Kezi (Daughter of Late Halil) More...

My old friend has moved to this care home 3 months ago. I find the staff really friendly and caring. My friends room is always clean, clothes washed daily. My friends says the food is good and she looks well cared for. She says the bed is very comfortable and she sleeps well. She’s got a risk of falling and they have a devise in her room at night that alerts the staff the minute she puts a foot on the floor to use the toilet in her room, the staff come and check she’s ok and hasn’t fell.I must say I’m really impressed with the care that I’ve seen from Rosedale. I had an average short experience working at this company in the office and the work environment was supportive. However, I must admit that the HR lady wasn't always the most knowledgeable about her job responsibilities. Overall, it's a great place to work but some improvements in HR training could be beneficial. More...
