I am a professional interpreter, translator, tutor in French, Portuguese with 18 years experience. I have a passion for languages and I take pride in sharing this knowledge with others. I offer my services online. I As a tutor I adapt my lessons to my students’ needs whether it’s to take an exam or simply for a business purpose. I am half French and half Portuguese. I teach children, GCSE, A level, Common Entrance exams and adults. My lessons are interactive with lots of practice using online support. Other languages are available upon request. I organise online intensive classes during the holidays. A small group of 7 students can join one hour classes to reinforce learning. During this small group, children are encouraged to interact with other children. I will teach about the different tenses in French which are required for GCSE. As an interpreter, translator I work in Public services such as court, NHS and with private clients. I translate birth certificates, marriage certificates, business and legal documents. I am a member with the The Chartered Institute of Linguists and the National Registry of Interpreters.
I am passionate about languages and I have always wanted to do a job that involves languages. I love sharing my knowledge with students and seeing them shining in their progress. I am fortunate to have a job I love. I love helping people and seeing the results. I’ve learned a lot about working with different types of customers and people from around the continent. I’ve enjoyed being able to help people directly over the phone and spread knowledge I’ve learned about our products.”
I have always had a passion for languages. I was brought bilingual French/Portuguese in Paris. I wanted to learn more languages so I decided to study languages at the University of La Sorbonne since it's a very good university. I loved it so much that I looked for careers which would involve speaking the languages. I first started working for the Stock Exchange, enabling me to practice my languages with people around the world. I decided to get an interpreting qualification which allowed me to interprete in many settings. When I first came to England I was a French assistant at the University of Wolverhampton where I was able to teach students and create French courses for the English students. Since I have continued teaching enlarging my public and now I teach children and adults. I love to see my student shining in their learning!
I have a passion for languages that I would like to share with my clients. I have years of teaching and translation experience. I am patient, kind.
I provide my service online as with the Covid situation people are more unlikely to travel.
I encourage my clients to switch to remote tuition and interpreting.

We have been using Birchwood for some time to help my daughter with her confidence in Maths, this has always been her least comfortable subject and coming into year 9 she really struggled. She started with Sajeda and was specially paired with her after an initial consultation.. Sajeda has been amazing, she is calm, kind and very very encouraging so much so my daughter moved up a set in maths and has continued in that set for her whole academic year now. I can't thank her and Birchwood for their tutoring, communication and flexibility... Highly recommended

I can’t thank Isobel and her team enough for the outstanding support they’ve provided my daughter, Nell, in the lead-up to her GCSEs. Her Math tutor, Kacper, has been absolutely fantastic — not only incredibly knowledgeable but also able to build a brilliant rapport with Nell, which made all the difference. Since starting her sessions, Nell has seen a huge improvement in both her confidence and her ability. She went into her exams feeling positive and genuinely believing that the grade she’s aiming for is now within reach — something we didn’t think she’d be able to say a few months ago. We’re so impressed that we’ll definitely be returning for A Level support. Knowing this kind of expert help is available gives us real peace of mind. I’ve already recommended Birchwood Tutors to a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Thank you so much!

We have had a great experience with Joseph (English) and Fraser (Maths). They have both worked hard to make sure our daughter feels confident and armed with the necessary tools and knowledge achieve the grades she needs for her sixth form.
