Both my partner and I were beyond impressed with Fuzzy Buddies! Rick looked after our two greyhounds for a week and was the perfect houseguest! The boys were well looked after and I got picture updates daily from Rick. They put me completely at ease the whole week and even left a little goodie bag with dog toys in for us when they left. I would recommend Fuzzy Buddies to anyone who is anxious about leaving their dogs in kennels when they go away! This was a much better option!! Thank you Rick & Dani!!
P.s - Sid & Bertie miss you already!

I get to spend every day with my best friends, breathing the cleanest air in the best office in the world.
I am a retired Hertfordshire Police Officer and prior to starting Dogistics I spent several years a self employed professional photographer working from my photography studio in Victoria Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire.
As a joint passion my wife and I had rescued and retrained large breed dogs for twenty five years and these dogs came with me to work most days.
When eventually the UK recession started to affect the bookings in my studio and I was toying with the idea of closing the studio for a few years and working from home. During one afternoon whilst walking and training my dogs to do tricks on Nomansland Common, three separate people asked me if I was a professional dog trainer/dog walker and the idea of Dogistics (or TakeMyLead as it was first named) began. After a few months I was so happy and so busy that I decided that I would close the studio and spend the rest of my working life with dogs, since that day I have never regretted that decision.
Since the conception of Dogistics I have been extremely busy and I have retained the majority of my original customers. Over the years new puppies have joined the ranks and sadly due to old age some of my most beautiful friends including my own dogs have passed over to the rainbow bridge.
I now use my photography skills on a daily basis to capture beautiful action shots of my four legged friends which provides the owners with feedback and wonderful memories.
Owners require a dog walker who has a vast knowledge of different dog breeds, someone who is reliable and has the experience to deal with a pack of dogs and the security of the owners home. I am able to safely convey the dogs to and from their exercise location in my large temperature controlled dog van which contains a medical kit, individual water bowls and nine individual MOD/Police rated aluminium dog crates with front and rear escape doors.
Dogs want to freely play and sniff with their own kind in both forests and grass lands in a secure and safe environment. I believe this exercise should be 'off lead' safely away from any children/members of the public and other animals
I provide professional dog walking service within the woods and grounds of two of Hertfordshires large Country House Estates with sole permission from the Estate owners.
The main exercise location is monitored by cctv surveillance and contains vast striped grassed lawns, woodland, hills and scrubland and is completely fenced within sixty six acres of this beautiful Hertfordshire Country Estate. This is the perfect location for group exercise and play.
How much does a Dog Walker cost?
The price of hiring a dog walker will depend on the area of the UK in which you live, with prices typically higher in the South of England and particularly in London. The cost of hiring a dog walker will often be lower in the North of England and in Scotland and Wales.
What should I look for in a Dog Walker?
The most important thing when you’re hiring a dog walker is that both you and your dog trust them. You should also ensure that your dog walker has public liability insurance that covers them in case of damage, accident or loss. The best way to find a reliable and trustworthy dog walker is by reading reviews of previous clients. When you hire a dog walker through Bark, you can browse the profiles of dog walkers in your local area and read honest reviews from genuine customers.
How many dogs can a Dog Walker walk at once?
It is recommended that a dog walker should walk a maximum of four dogs at a time, to enable them to maintain good control of each dog. Most dog walkers will give you the option of having your dog walked alone or with other dogs. Walking with other dogs will help your dog to develop valuable social skills. However, if your dog is reactive, you may prefer for them to be walked alone.
