I’ve just finished three one to one sessions with Claire and I’m really glad I decided to do it. I originally went in thinking I needed help with a spending habit that felt out of control, but it quickly became clear that the behaviour itself wasn’t really the root issue. Instead, we ended up working on the trauma and emotional pain underneath it, which felt surprising but also completely right.
This was my first time doing hypnosis properly with someone one to one. I’d used YouTube recordings before, but this felt very different. It was more personal and tailored, and I felt genuinely supported rather than just listening to something general.
One of the biggest realisations for me was how long I’d been operating in what I can only describe as freeze mode. I was functioning and getting on with things, but underneath I felt stuck and was carrying emotional weight without fully realising it. Understanding that my memories are just memories, and that they don’t have to control how I feel or react now, has been incredibly freeing. Since the sessions, even my breathing feels deeper and more natural, which has been a really noticeable shift.
I always felt safe and in control during the sessions, which was important to me. Nothing felt forced or overwhelming. The work was calm, steady and powerful in a very grounded way.
