FastFoward Anxiety Reframing Therapy

Merseyside

FastForward Anxiety Reframing Therapy, (ART), is a result of our life's work. Healing is our purpose and our passion! In over 20 years of study and practice we have now developed our own, unique programme that addresses every facet of the anxiety spectrum. Some people are spending months and even years in therapy for anxiety based issues and depression. We believe these 'time frames' can be excessively prolonged, and often unnecessary. For those of you suffering with: Stress, Social Phobias, Panic Disorders-(Panic Attacks), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD,) Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD,) Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Agorophobia , Claustrophobia and Depression. Look no further because we have a fascinating & dramatic recovery programme; (ART). We both have: BA Hons degrees in Psychology, Social Science & Pedagogy, and have also undertaken further studies leading to qualifications in the following: Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), NLP Life Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Person-centred Counselling, Crisis Counselling, and Hypnotherapy. Mark privately, offers, Life Coaching support for both; business and personal progression. We are honoured to have studied with and had the opportunity of modelling some of the best, modern, cutting edge, holistic therapies and therapists . We also draw on the best of traditional therapy when evaluating client issues. We then apply a series of 'therapeutic tools' to help process and then neutralize the issue. Each session is unique and designed to bring a fast resolution to the issue or issues. The first session is completely free, with the purpose of both; gathering information - and for you to feel confident in us and in us and our suggested therapy. Unless a client expresses a particular preference for a male, or female therapist, we deliver therapy sessions as a couple, (at no extra cost). This gives us a unique in-depth & insightful evaluation. This dual integrative approach leads to a more, well-rounded and holistic outcome. We are more than just listening therapists and use our training and skills to neutralize the issues at source. We look forward to working with you Mark and Jo

What do you love most about your job?

There is no better feeling than seeing people arrive deeply stressed- with seemingly no answers, and leave us feeling so much more relaxed and happy.
They Feel stronger and able to cope now, with a new direction and purpose.

We often remark at how happy and fulfilled we are in helping people to move forward.
We both agree that, it is an unbelievable privilege to serve people in this way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We have worked extensively within the personal development industry.

Over the years we have trained individuals, and lectured and trained large groups. During this time, we met many people who were trying to cope with some form of emotional and psychological pain. Many of these people were suffering long- term anxiety symptoms. We were often approached for personal therapy, and as a consequence we embarked on specific therapeutic training, so that we can help 'heal' these painful issues wherever, and whenever we can.

We have taken this further by developing our own Anxiety Reframing Therapy (ART). This development enables us to bring the best of all the disciplines together. We can then also use a tried and tested therapeutic toolkit' that removes the anxiety triggers causing the problems.

It is our mission and our passion to bring healing and answers to those in emotional and psychological pain.

Why should our clients choose you?

The particular studies, training and work that we have done in the anxiety field, have made us very aware of the type and scope of the issues involved.
Perhaps, more importantly, is understanding completely, the challenges people face today.

The 'tools' we use, and particularly, how we apply them, are the key to both helping to understand and remove the problem.
We create a safe , non-judgemental, holistic, environment for each session.
We systematically, quickly and skilfully identify what is causing the issue/s and carefully 're-frame' and remove the triggers and mental pictures causing the pain.
The difference is that, with us, you get two trained therapists for the price of one. Our dual-perspective and integrative approach is unique, powerful, fast and effective.

We love what we do and feel that you can be confident in using our therapies.

Counselling FAQs

Expand all

Your expert Counsellor will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to advise on what is most suitable. Use Bark to get free quotes and schedule an appointment today.

At your appointment, you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained Counsellor who will listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes and find your own solutions to problems. However, they will not usually give advice or tell you what to do. The Counsellor might sum up what they understand you have been saying so that they can help you to form a plan of action.

Counselling can take place in a number of ways. These include:

  • Face to face session

  • Group session

  • Phone session

  • Email session

  • Online through live chat services or video conferencing software

You may be offered a single session of Counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your Counsellor.

You can be confident that any of the Bark local Counsellors listed will give you a reliable and efficient service to help you feel better.

You could look for Counsellors that are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) which means that they have met the PSA’s required professional standards to practise.

Before you choose a Counsellor, you could read testimonials and read details of the issues they can help with on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out reviews from past customers too.

Counselling can help with many issues. These include the following:

  • Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or eating disorders.

  • Physical health conditions such as infertility.

  • Difficult life events such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress.

  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as low self-esteem or anger.

  • Sexual identity issues.

  • Divorce.

  • Redundancy and work issues.

  • Phobias and fears.

Absolutely! Many Counsellors provide their services remotely via an online video call or the telephone. Not only is it more convenient, but it's also the preferable option for many people who would feel more comfortable holding the session from the comfort of their own home.
