What do you love most about your job?

Applying common sense and the experience I have gained to issues that are often technically complex.
Variety! I have worked with companies in many different sectors. I enjoy learning about their specific business practices and peculiarities and drafting/developing new approaches to cover them in legal projects.
Negotiating deals and the associated interaction with my clients and other parties. There is nothing more satisfying than working out a deal strategy and tag teaming with my client to deliver a sensible end result

What inspired you to start your own business?

I spent many years in large law firms. The ability to undertake the same kind of work outside large corporate culture/bureaucracy was a major driver for me. I also know that I can give more hands on individual focus to my clients, who have been extremely loyal over the years, and that I can provide a quality legal service at sensible fee rates.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have been lucky enough to have advised on legal projects in a many different sectors, ranging across technology, sport, manufacture, sale and distribution of products, exploitation of IP, corporate ventures and the financial sector. I have over 35 years experience handling deals across the spectrum, from assisting start up ventures to £multi billion value projects both in the UK and internationally. If you engage me you get me (not a junior lawyer somewhere in the firm) but at the same fee rates that you would pay for a junior lawyer.
