I'm Flora, a yoga and mindfulness instructor, specializing in Vinyasa, Hatha, Post Natal and Restorative Yoga. I have 260 hours of training and have taught many students in the UK, Spain, and Costa Rica. My teaching journey began in Costa Rica where I worked for a non-profit\ refuge for female domestic abuse survivors. This experience set the tone for my career as a teacher; to share the healing magic of yoga to help build inner strength & outer strength and to overcome both emotional and physical barriers that stand in the way of your goals.

I would definitely recommend Dermot at Pro Physio in Earlsfield. I was recently training for the London Marathon and having lots of problems with my knees just a few weeks before the race. I had 3 sessions with Dermot and found his help and advice invaluable. I ran the marathon without any knee pain and cannot thank him enough!

I joined the Balham studio at the start of summer and have been amazed at how hot yoga has really helped with my asthma. I run a lot and have really noticed the improvement in my breathing due to hot yoga. With regards to the studio, I have been impressed with the day to day running, cleanliness and the knowledge of both staff and teachers.

I'd like to write a review for Weronika who has been me and my families yoga teacher for over 4 years now.It has been wonderful watching her grow and develop in her teaching practice vof yoga.Weronika is very person centered and has tried and tried various types of styles of yoga herself before incorporating these into her classes.Weronika seeks feedback from students and listens to what they are saying in reviewing which are the most benefial, safe and sometimes challenging poses to bring to the class. Her manner is gentle yet helping her students develope their individual strengths to progress to what they feel they can manage in a nurtured environment .I highly recommend Weronika 's classes and feel they not only develope and strengthen the body , but the mind .Many thanks dear Weronika , you are a very important part of my week.Mary?
I love sharing the practice of yoga and conscious breathing and witnessing others getting what they need: calm/clarity as well as energy/stretching, leading to that positive feeling of well being.
I am a theatre practitioner: writer/director and teacher . I have always used yoga/conscious breathing principles in my work with actors and students.
Teaching yoga/breathwork classes is an extension of that.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I am very experienced and confident. I am good at assessing each client's needs and encouraging them to find their 'edge', where they challenge themselves without pushing.
Yes. I have been working on Zoom throughout the pandemic. I use a webcam so clients can see me clearly, and a large screen so that I can see clients clearly.
I have a small studio in my home or I can come to you
Most of my teaching has been remote. All new clients are asked to complete a health questionaire and I have a short 1:1 session.
For live teaching I would always complete a Risk Assessment for a new venue. I pay particular attention to the following: ventilation, reminding students to continue with good hand washing practices and explicitly reminding students that if they are feeling ill they should not come to class but stay at home. I also suggest that students bring their own mats and blocks rather than sharing, making sure that I thoroughly clean any mats etc used by students. Mats are placed at a socially distant position
