I'm a Birmingham based photographer specialising in weddings, events and family portrait photography. I originally qualified as an Events & Wedding Planner in 2013 before deciding to go down the photography route. Over the years I have gained experience on commercial photography sets doing everything from prop and set design to directing models all the way through to photographing weddings, Christenings, birthday parties and more! My style is relaxed and natural - the most important thing about the photos is that they capture the real and honest events. Sometimes the best shots are taken when you don't even know I'm there! I am fully insured, accredited and have a valid DBS certificate so you know you're in safe hands.
I love shooting weddings especially and being a part of the most important part of someone's life and the day they will treasure forever. It's an absolute privilege.
I've always been creative and a brilliant organiser. I have spreadsheets for spreadsheets. I plan everything down to the absolute 'T' to make sure every aspect of the day is covered and more for contingency. I also like to get to know my clients so that they can relax around me and this always comes across in the shots.
Having been one of the lucky photographers to be able to continue working during parts of 2020, I ensure I wear my mask at all times during an event and keep my distance also.
If at any point it becomes difficult to keep a 2m distance, I will ensure I get the permission of my clients to step any closer.
Between events, I ensure I isolate away from any unnecessary social gatherings and always follow strict sanitising protocols. This means that I sanitise my hands throughout events as well as my equipment regularly.
To limit face to face contact, I have also moved my consultations online either via Zoom, FaceTime or Whatsapp video calling - whichever is easiest for my clients.
