SDR Counselling

Do you find yourself feeling anxious, low, or emotionally overwhelmed, unsure how to move forward? Perhaps you notice the same patterns showing up in your relationships, or feel that past experiences are still having an impact on how you think and feel today. I’m Sheila, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering online therapy for adults across the UK and internationally. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and ongoing stress. My aim is to provide a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to understand yourself more deeply. Our work together can help you make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, while also finding practical ways to cope, feel calmer, and regain a sense of balance. I take an integrative, person-centred approach, which means therapy is tailored to you - your pace, your needs, and what feels most helpful. I have a particular focus on perinatal mental health, supporting both women and men through fertility challenges, pregnancy, birth trauma, and postnatal depression. I also have experience supporting clients who have been affected by trauma, including domestic abuse and PTSD. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to help you decide if this feels like the right support for you. If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to reach out.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy being a support to people as they work to overcome life's challenges and difficulties. Seeing them grow and flourish as therapy progresses is a truly enriching and fulfilling experience. I am constantly learning from my clients, as everyone has a unique background, world view and way of looking at things.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having gained valuable experience working with a number of counselling services previously (One In Four Dublin, Woman's Trust, VCS Tallaght), I decided to open my own private practice and work for myself. I love having the freedom to offer remote sessions to clients on a schedule that works for both them and me.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am passionate about my work as a counsellor and psychotherapist; my clients' wellbeing is very important to me. I draw on a combination of my studies and previous work in the field to help each client on their way to feeling better and/or making some postive changes in their life.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

All counselling sessions are online, usually via Google Meet. Virtual sessions mean you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home and there is no commuting to factor in either.
