How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

The key to unlocking true physical (and mental) health lies in building better habits and stronger relationships with food, ditching the "on a diet" mindset and setting yourself up for life. This should never include restrictive eating, cutting out entire food groups or demonising foods but learning to love food and laying those foundations for long term success.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing not only the physical change, but the increase in confidence in my clients over their time working with us. It is my true belief that if I don't set someone up for the long term, and to never need me any more, then I have failed.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Through competitive bodybuilding I developed some very poor relationships with food and body dysmorphia. And through helping people make small changes in with their nutrition and avoiding the mistakes I made, my reputation and business began to grow to where it is now in 2022, having helped 1000s of men and women around the world take control of their life once again and learn to love food.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because at TeamAON everything we do is driven through education and passion for results. We don't buy into the whole "8 week transformation" type programmes, but instead our Academy Coaching (our flagship programme) takes clients on a journey not only from a physical perspective but also an educational one so when they get from A to B they know exactly how to stay at point B.....FOR LIFE!

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

All of our services (nutrition, workouts, live fitness classes, recipes, support etc) is provided online.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We adapted during COVID when gyms were closed to ensure all clients had home workouts and also employed (and still do) fitness instructors to run live fitness classes in our Facebook group too which have proved hugely popular.

Your specialist will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to help you select the best treatment for your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a specialist today.

Dietitians are the only health professionals regulated and protected by law. Registered Nutritionists can provide evidence-based advice and information about food and healthy eating. Nutritional therapists provide alternative treatment, based on the idea that the body needs 'healing' and 'correcting'.

  • Credentials - Find a specialist that has the credentials to support your personal needs.

  • Experience - Ask how long your Dietitian or Nutritionist has been practising and look up their background.

  • Gimmicks - Check your specialist is not supporting an unsuitable diet brand or supplement.

  • Right fit - Make sure they are upfront in the areas they specialise in and are able to make referrals if your needs are outside their comfort zone.

The minimum requirement for a Dietitian is a degree in Dietetics or a related science degree with a postgraduate diploma or higher degree in Dietetics. Nutritionists should have attended a course which is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).

Before you choose either a Nutritionist or a Dietitian, you could read testimonials and read reviews on their website. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read reviews from past customers too.
