With qualifications in personal training, self defence instruction and Muay Thai; I create tailored workouts that push you hard and keep you guessing.
Based in North Leeds, I can travel to you, train in your local park or even meet at a ‘pay-as-you-go’ gym.

Having become sick of the ever growing variations in workouts and elaborate cable machines, Nathans ability to revitalize my training is nothing short of a miracle. I have seen a considerable increase in muscle mass and drop in body fat since starting the sessions. Nathan has also helped me target muscles that for years I have struggled with to much success. “Your body is a temple Guille” rang true from our first session and it's profoundness I take with me everyday.I have also recently started swapping sessions to Muay Thai as it looked like a fun way to workout and it has been fantastic! I can't praise him highly enough, I wish Active Rebel all the best for making working out effective and fun again.
Takenouchi-ryu is a Japanese classical martial art dating from the 16th century. It is a comprehensive training system, using many of the weapons of the samurai, but is particularly renowned for its ju-jitsu (unarmed techniques).
Students train through kata or 'forms', often repeating the basic movements many times. Beginners start with the bo (six foot staff) and learning how to fall safely, before moving on to blocks, throws, locks and releases, then weapons such as the bokuto (wooden sword), jo (short staff) and kogusoku.
