I enjoy interacting with guests 'close up' to engage and entertain them. I enjoy the fact that I really 'connect' with people through my magic because they seem to like my personality and they get very involved and entertained.
I'm full time now, but I had been doing magic semi-professionally alongside a high-level professional job for a long time. I went full time because I realised that I felt I needed to keep growing as a performer and as an artist. So I needed to devote more time to practice and to performing. Marketing and the business side of things also needs a lot of dedicated time.
I have always had an entrepreneurial streak. I come from a small business family and so I guess it is in the blood to 'do my own thing'! My motivation is entertainment for the public first and foremost, not business, because I love what I do.
