My style as a DJ would be best described as eclectic in that i have a wide range of music that i like to listen to and play. I have been DJing for over twenty years and have had the privilege of DJing at a varied cultural events and have therefore collected a large range of music from country to pop and from reggae to soul!
I learnt my trade playing vinyl on turntables so i pride myself in my mixing ability and best matching by ear......the equipment may have changed but the principles remain the same.
As a DJ to work with i am very patient when it comes to requests, I try and give everyone what they want but i am mindful that it is my job to cater to the wider crowd. If a guest asks me to play a slow ballad whilst i am playing some 80's boogie, then i politely let them know that this isn't the right time but I will do my best to get their requested track on as soon as i can.
