I came across the shop by chance and was very glad I did. I was looking for a 60th birthday cake with a cricket theme. Nothing was too much trouble and the cake was made in a very reasonable time. I could not decide fruit cake or sponge, so I had both. The cake and decorations were absolutely brilliant. If you are looking for a bespoke cake, look no further. Sophie was a delight to work with. She had excellent ideas, but was also flexible to meet the needs of our very varied clientele. She worked extremely hard to produce a variety of delicious canapes for 80 people, working from a basement kitchen in a historic church - not ideal catering conditions. We asked her for a range of different items, some crisp and crunchy, others moist and succulent, all healthy, colourful, nourishing and appetizing. Absolutely all her canapes were eaten and enjoyed to the last crumb. Our supper was a great success and we hope she will be working for us again.
