Cravings by Jayne opened its doors in December of 2020 with the intention of being a space where Jayne could sell a few sweet treats between cake consultations and other orders. Crystal Beach, it seemed, had other plans. With consistent line ups out the door that left the shelves bare, 16-hour days and all-nighters were the norm as we got our footing and found ways to meet the demand of our beloved customers who showed unwavering support and kindness.
Baking is usually a happy job! You make something special for someone even more special day. Like wedding, birthday, anniversaries. It’s honestly the best feeling when you know you’re changing their day for the better. Cheesy but true!
Definitely was always something I was unintentionally gearing up for. I always sold cookies or pies to family + friends as a kid to pay for school trips and once covid hit that was what I resorted to when loosing my job too! It was fight or flight and I wasn’t going to be jobless!
Well, as much as I don’t really enjoy this question, I do love the community so as long as people are shopping from me I’ll be donating and supporting local sports teams, stay n’ does, fundraising events and my favourite non-for profits because that’s what I feel of right. When people choose to shop from me, just know roughly around 2-5% of your purchase is going back to something good in our community or other places that are in need. We also love to be as eco-conscious as possible, I say conscious because sometimes commercially, it’s impossible to be garbage free, but we do try our very best and love making switches to better eco friendly products as we find them!
Yes! Well. Kind of! You can order your cakes/cookies/treats all online and choose curbside pickup! Unfortunately we don’t offer delivery yet!
We actually opened during covid so covid protocol is all we know! Curbside pickup, sanitizer everywhere, masks, online ordering, over the phone payments, testing employees daily, it’s all we know here!

Taha catered my family's Christmas Eve dinner, and everything was perfect! The food was generously portioned and so delicious, the buffet station was decorated beautifully, and Taha was prompt and efficient with the set up and tear down. Taha has my highest recommendation, and I will certainly hire him again in the future!
