I ordered a homemade cake for my husband's birthday during the lockdown and not only was it a piece of incredible art (just wow! ) it was also one of the most delicious, flavoursome, perfectly crafted cakes I've ever had! The balance was perfect - not too rich, not too heavy, not too sweet - seriously, I'm not a cake person and I had to stop myself eating it all and pretending I'd dropped it on the floor or something. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with my clients to make beautiful cakes that taste as good as they look. Creating each cake is a personal and in depth process and each element is thoughtfully considered from flavours to construction and embellishments and decoration. I love every step of the process of making a unique cake for my clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business so that I had the creative freedom to create cake designs that reflect my signature style and individual personality.

I offer cake tasting sample boxes online with special Royal mail delivery. Get in touch to be added to our next mail out. At the moment we are offering remote video consultations to 'meet' online and discuss your wedding cake. I am also launching an online shop in the future so watch this space.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We offer remote video consultations, have our extremely high hygiene practices in place and offer contactless doorstep collections with contactless payment. We have also updated our wedding contract terms and conditions to be more flexible in light of Covid-19 for postponements and adjustments for those unforeseen circumstances.
