What do you love most about your job?

Meeting business owners with potentially amazing businesses.

Every business is unique, but what my clients all have in common is a burning desire to add value for their clients, and make a difference in the world.

They never want to be the 'same old same old' sausage factory they may have encountered on the way to starting their own business.

Getting to know the owner and the business is always fascinating. I learn so much from every client.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I suppose I was inspired by the same thing that inspires my clients - the feeling that I could do better by my clients, by the people I work with and by myself if I did things my way.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm expensive, but you'll always get more than you paid for because I'm not your usual business consultant.

I've taken an unusual route to get to where I am - my first degree is in Spanish, my second in the Theoretical Foundations of Software Engineering and my third is a Sloan Fellowship from London Business School.

I've worked at several different companies in very different industries - from an electric train manufacturer, to a pharmeceutical company and a swiss investment bank via a small software house and a Belgian hotel.

I'm an unusual combination of people and process, big picture and detail, I get to the heart of the matter quickly and I make the complex simple.

I love learning how things work, and making them work 10 x or 100x better.

As a lifelong networker I've met 100s of businesses and 1000s of people and I've learned from every one of them as much as they have learned from me.

I can't wait to get back to face-to-face, but I work equally well online, and remotely, using Zoom.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I make sure we never have to meet face to face, so I work with clients online using Zoom.
