Alison has offered a warm and safe environment, allowing a space to be honest and open. She listens intently and every time I am met with empathy and understanding. She has taught me skills I can take away with me and provided invaluable support. She is filled with genuine care and authentic compassion, yet her empowering nature has made me feel comfortable to work through complex trauma whilst challenging me to find myself in the process. I have felt less alone throughout my struggles and couldn’t be more grateful to have her journey by my side. I was sceptical about counselling due to past experiences but Alison has taken time to build trust and her profound insights have shown how it can be life changing in ways I never thought possible.
Coaching to help you to understand, process and express your emotions. Helping you to feel it all. Group and individual sessions available. I have 10 years of personal experience in this work. My own coach said that you have to have been to the gates of hell yourself to be able to coach someone to get to the other side. I'm on the other side and I want to help you to help you to get there too. I also have experience in resolving trauma and anger management. Instagram @alittledogcalledgrief
I love the connection, and helping to people feel seen. Grief can be a lonely place, but it doesn't have to be. I believe in the power of story-telling, community and kindness.
I've been an avid student of grief for the past 10 years, having lost 5 very close relatives at a relatively young age. Back then, and even now, I think the world is lacking accessible services for people who are grieving. I wanted to create a community where people feel seen, and start honest conversations about grief. I'm also passionate about coaching, and helping people to solve their own problems.
Unfortunately, I have experience that can't be bought. It can't be taught on a course, it has to be lived. I've had a long career of working with vulnerable people, and creating a space for people to express their emotions. Grief isn't something that someone can get over. It has to be lived through. I have a fresh perspective on grief coaching helping my clients to fully feel all of their emotions - even seemingly negative ones, and to get back to a life living with grief.
My services can be provided in person or remotely via Zoom.
My services have been moved to online via Zoom. If in person, I will make my clients feel as safe as possible in line with both their own comfort and government guidelines
