What do you love most about your job?
I come across people from all walks of life.. people returning to work after bringing up a family, people made/facing redundant to people who need support on their career journey. The greatest satisfaction is knowing that you have supported someone to achieve their potential.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business because I wanted to support people achieve their potential. With my track record I knew that I could offer the support required to make a career transition. This desire to make a difference launched "the Career Skills Hub" a professional career coaching business that brought my strengths, experience and skills together to help others take control of their career journey.
Why should our clients choose you?
You cannot be an effective career coach without being a specialist in employment related skills; this enables me to draw on my employment skills expertise when coaching individuals to achieve their potential.
My contribution and success in supporting people in the transition to employment has been recognised. I was awarded Work Programme Business Manager of the year in 2016 and my career coach was nationally recognised by being awarded Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) Advisor of the Year in 2017 in recognition of the significant impact made to individuals seeking employment support.
Not all coaches have a background that is underpinned by employability skills and counselling, this unique approach allows me to give career coaching solution focused steps to achieve success whilst at time same time drawing on my extensive employability skills and counselling experience.

I offer a space to explore and challenge the many issues people want to talk about with the aim of bringing change and finding acceptable outcomes for them.
I respect that we are all individuals and can offer short term or long-term support depending on your needs. Communication is the key to our relationship and to help you bring about desired change.
For over 20 years I have worked with many concerns including work, career anxiety, stress related issues, relationships and many more.
