I needed various repairs and modifications to help with some damp issues.

Joe identified the causes and made a sensible plan to tackle them all. The job was a mix of a fixed quote for one aspect of the work and a day rate (plus materials) for the rest.

He came when he said he would and stayed on the job until it was finished.

The standard of work is high (I suppose I’ll have to wait for a period of heavy rain to be sure!)

The work included:
Rerouting drain pipes,
Replacing chimney pots,
Joinery to a rotten window frame and replacing rotten stairs,
Fresh pointing to outdoor masonry,
Replacing exterior slate pieces (for water run off),
Plastering, painting and making good.

The job took 3 weeks in all.
