Highly disappointed. Mike initially sold himself well I’ll give him that.
He told me that he works at a very high standard and that he provides all equipments however, I got the opposite, his work is very amateur. All he needed to do was fix a TV stand and hide some wires, but unfortunately this was not completed up to standard. The end result was tacky, he left the sky box hanging on the side due to short wire, a drawer out of place and the LED lights not working.

I contacted him and very politely expressed this, instead he was rude and abrupt and stated that he refuses to come back to fix what is required if we do not have any further jobs for him. But how can I pay for more jobs if I’m not happy with the current one? He was not happy with this, his tone became increasingly rude, he raised his voice and also hung up the phone on me. Disgusting.

I thought I was done with immature and untruthful clients-Well, I was wrong! This woman hired me to put together a TV stand which I not only did to a high standard and went over and beyond job spec by adding trunking to cover all the wiring(which she has conveniently forgotten). The Sky box was not left "hanging"-the unit had "No More" cable flex as per what was fitted by Sky(this was explained to the client and I bought additional cable to add on for my return) The LED light does work but was told by her mother don't connect it till I came back which was agreed over the draw which was slightly misaligned.Again Stephanie has conviently chosen not to add the true context to her claims as she would be exposed for inaccuracies as to what happened. Stephanie's excuse on speaking to her today(24 hours before I was due to pop over to address her issues for her Mother)was an insult to all women-She said "We are a houseful of Women and we don't understand things like that"! A poor unthought out response-My reviews and work standards are of the highest order and I refute totally this version of events. I was more than happy to resolve her issue but she went off on a recorded rant on my phone via messenger-I have since "blocked her".(The only loser was her mother whom I did the work for and was so polite) Stephanie is not a nice person-so beware anyone taking her work on!

Mike did a great job assembling a set of Mamas & Papas nursery furniture for us. From the first phone call it was clear that Mike cares about his work and giving a great experience to his customers and as a result of this we ended up going with him over cheaper quotes.

Mike was very polite, punctual and respectful of our home, leaving the workplace tidy. He did a good job with the assembly and worked efficiently to get the job done within the time that he estimated. Mike even went so far as to secure the wardrobe to the wall for us as he wanted to ensure it was safe for our new arrival which was a nice touch.

I contacted Mike following a bad installation of my Ikea pax wardrobe by a rogue tradesman. As I was fearful that the large heavy doors were going to fall off, Mike kindly stopped by the same day to check they were secure before coming back a few days later to complete the remedial work.
