Bart answered my request for a quote to repair both of the posts on my stairs in the hallway which were broken and unstable.

He came out, did an assessment and discussed the options to repair them, unlike another company that contacted me and told me I would have to pay a call out charge for them to look at the issue - outrageous.

He sent through a quote which was reasonable for labour only, as I purchased the wooden posts.

He came back and began working on removing the old ones and installing the new ones, while cleaning up as he went along.

In total, he visited 4 times because he wanted to ensure that his work was perfect and he even painted the posts white with some gloss paint that I had left over, even though he admitted that painting was not his skill. He did a very professional job painting them.

Overall, he did an excellent job replacing the wooden posts on my staircase and it now looks really modern and I constantly get compliments from my friends and family when they visit.

I have no hesitation in recommending him for carpentry work because he is a hardworking and conscientious person who is not satisfied with a mediocre job, so won't leave it until he is 100% satisfied and you are too.

Highly recommend them! I wanted alcoves fitted with cupboards and shelves for the living room and this was one of the main / biggest projects that needed doing upon moving into our new flat. Bart did a great job replacing my bathroom door which included patching up part of the battered frame after I got locked in the bathroom. I now have a functioning door with a new handle and lock. He also kindly replaced the hanger from my old door onto the new one. He did an honest job and arrived on time (he had to come back next day while waiting for the repair of the frame to dry) and also took the time to call me to say he was running late.
