At our Company we have always struggled with HR – we have never been big enough to take on a full time HR representative but working with consultants we couldn’t really get that connection you really need with HR.
After working with the Inglis Group for the past 6 months I can quite easily say our Company has been totally transformed.
Eleanor is the business partner that I never thought I would get without hiring someone full time. She doesn’t just complete what we need, tell us what to do and then bill us, she takes the time to sit with me (either in person or online) and go through the different solutions to my issues and why she has come to that conclusion, she teaches me and my Operations Manager about the correct approach to handling and managing issues, so much so, we have felt fully confident to handle some of the newer things that have come up. Eleanor rewrote our contracts, overhauled our employee handbook, wrote our policies and quite literally designed our recruitment process. She works a lot with this HR System company and manged to get us the biggest discount for a new HR System which again, has literally changed our life. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the relief on my clients face when they hear that their problem is fixable and in fact, easily done so! Its a very cliché but I really enjoy working with all sorts of different types of clients, it's fascinating learning about different industries and I love getting to meet different people!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I really wanted to work with small businesses and to introduce HR to businesses owners.
