How long have you been in business?
8 years, with experience in most trades but specialising in carpentry.
What guarantee does your work come with?
We pride ourselves on high quality work, using high quality materials. Should any of our installations fail within 1 year (as long as the items we have built have been properly looked after), we will happily return to fix them.
What do you love most about your job?
The creativity and out-the-box thinking that is required. As the owner of Dreamwood Carpentry, I love a challenge and keeping my brain and body working. Seeing the finished result and a happy client is also very rewarding and a big bonus of the job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been entrepreneurial and have found with many of the jobs I've had in the past that I felt a bit stuck, without the freedom to express myself. I love all the moving parts of running a business; it keeps my mind and body active and challenges me daily.

I care deeply about doing a good job and making my clients happy. I'm flexible, friendly and always do my best. I love my work and take great pride in it.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
No, I cannot provide my services remotely. I need to be present to build things. However, I often do most of the cutting and prep work away from their home and then bring it to install.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I don't believe covid to be a huge risk anymore, however if any clients request that I take extra precautions I will do so (wear a mask, keep distance, etc). If I believe that I have covid, I will always give them the option of whether they would like me to stay at home or continue to work but take precautions (of course, if I'm really ill then I will postpone the work).

Make your alcoves into a feature while utilising the space for storage! We build alcove cabinetry to suit any style, with cupboards, drawers or shelving. If you need wires hidden inside it, we'll do that too.
Under stairs storage
Make the most of dead space under your stairs. We can build stylish cupboards, shelving or drawers to make the most of this space, or if you just want to tidy the space up, that's also possible. Whatever your requirements, we can make it happen!
