HR Support - Retained service

Our services are delivered at a personal level where you will have unlimited access to your own HR consultant who will in effect become your HR department. This means that you will have your own HR Consultant assigned to the organisation which will be a fixed point of contact. We do not use call centres and any templates that are created are bespoke for you and your organization. You can also chose to have onsite support at a frequency that meets your needs and you will also have the choice of seniority and experience of consultant depending on the nature of work that you require. We engage with clients either on a rolling monthly or fixed 12 monthly agreement and do not insist on long tie in periods such as three or five years. This in our opinion ensures that our delivery needs to exceed your service expectations which is exactly what we aim to do. A fixed monthly fee covers all aspects of HR support and also provides Insurance cover against tribunal action and costs which enables you to have exact figures for your budgets.

Projects

Benchmarking and salary review

Deminos are able to carry out salary benchmarking for clients to ensure that they remain competitive, through conducting a pay review, paying individuals in line with normal industry practice and standards, and benchmarking salaries against other employers.

Training and Development

Deminos has provided training and development in key areas such as: − Investigation skills − Making HR decisions − Managing absence − Supervisory skills We also provide sessions in Employment Law Overview – our one-day session covers employment law issues currently facing managers. It leads participants, step by step, through the life cycle of an employee and highlights what managers need to be aware of from; recruitment of employees, maintaining the relationship to finally how to end the employment relationship. Performance Management and Appraisal

Deminos have been involved in the creation of bespoke performance management/appraisal systems with the aim of achieving enhanced results for Company’s, their teams and individuals by understanding and managing performance within an agreed framework of planned goals, standards and competence requirements. Deminos have created processes for establishing shared understanding about what has to be achieved by managing and developing people in a way that increases the probability of businesses that will be achieved in the short & long term. Deminos have for example both designed and delivered performance and appraisal processes and delivered training in order to embed the processes within Company’s.

TUPE

Deminos have extensive experience in dealing with TUPE projects, involving identifying affected groups of employees who may be affected by the transfer, and ensuring that the election of employee representatives and the resulting information and / or consultation process adheres to TUPE regulations. We will advise on correct consultation processes and evaluation of potential ‘measures’ that may affect the process, such as post transfer changes to terms and conditions and redundancies.

Change Management

Deminos have successfully supported and implemented change programmes in line with Businesses requirements, which support Business Plans with particular attention to changes to organisational structure, staff terms and conditions, linked to pay and pay scales and grade structure.

Redundancy and Re-structure

Deminos have experience of carrying out redundancy and re-structuring exercises across varied businesses, in particular the re-structuring of key areas of businesses to ensure that staffing requirements are in line with the current and future requirements of the business. Deminos are able to prepare and supply all documentation relating to the process and can give on-going advice at all stages of the process as well as provide on site support as required for consultation and appeal meetings etc.
